There was not good time to record proper review so I loaded up the car and turned on my phone. As you can see I got super excited about this film. Lowered my expectations because it was a Netflix original and we all know those can. Be hits but they definitely can be huge misses. This was the former for me. Jamie Foxx and Gordon-Levitt make a great team as a cop and vigilante both at odds and on the same side trying to stop the spread of an experimental drug being circulated on the streets of New Orleans that gives users superpowers for five minutes. The messages that this movie 🍿 brings were not lost on me. After the city rebuilt from hurricane disasters and economic collapse, this wave of drug could not only destroy the city but bring a new evil to the world to which could destroy it forever. This was a very exciting adventure to watch. It is highly recommended and I give my reasons why on the Talking Through The Medias YouTube channel.
